Just 15 minutes before closing, a new client rushed in with a critically injured dog, suffering from a spinal cord injury after playing with his housemate. The patient was in respiratory distress and unable to walk. Despite the late hour and the holiday timing, Dr. Pacheco, along with our dedicated veterinary technicians, Crystal and Liberty, didn't hesitate. They immediately jumped into action, providing life-saving care, stabilizing the patient, and managing his pain.
Through their quick thinking, skillful care, and unwavering dedication, our team was able to stabilize the patient and prepare him for transfer to a nearby emergency hospital.
